Oh dear god...So many red flags, yet she was still allowed to have a child in her house after all the shit she did. Doesn't exactly help that the paramedics, of all people, had to have counciling after it was all over. Even more so is the fact that the baby was alive 9 hours after it had happened...

That's pretty much all that can be said about this. Truly sad.

 

It was on the hob, rather than in the oven, but still absolutely horrific. I was holding my little boy when my girlfriend told me about it, and it shook me more than I thought it would.

 

That's really sad news. Even thinking about it makes me sick.

Thats just sad. LIke that one woman who killed her kids because she said God said they were the spawn of satan.

 

I sometimes wonder if true insanity exists. It might be an age-old trick to not get into trouble for being a sadistic freak. Truly sad, indeed.

 

Now that is fucked up. These guys have seen basically everything, and now they have to go through councelling.

 

It could be worse - she could have half eaten it and it still been alive when they turned up

And Mr. Causla - bonafide insanity does exist, not 1 but both of my parents have schizophrenia and at times they do some really fucked up stuff, I got my own issues too

 

wtf?, and about keeping the baby alive for 9hr.... why? the kid is 90% burned... he is going to live a horrible life if he survives... this is just horrible.

 

i got my issues too on paper i am paranoid schizofrenic, but i am not (ask the two admins i talk to over msn, i don´t think they think i am)

I think it's just ADD in the states. There's also Adult ADD for people that developed or were diagnosed late with it. Call me an asshole, but I think 50% or more of ADD cases are just lazy ass parents. I mean fuck... I never paid attention in class, but I was promptly punished when I didn't.

So Legit -- what's it like being raised by schizophrenic parents. I've never met anyone that I know is afflicted by the condition. That had to be a weird upbringing.

 

Well, with my dad, when he wasn't hitting me or my mum (but never my brother), he was either in an institution or in prison for various crimes(gbh, abh, drug dealing & possession of illegal weapons) hehe. After they got divorced my mum pretty much let me do whatever I wanted - I was either out being a little bastard smashing windows and generally being a prick, watching a lot of sci fi junk on tv or having a blast on my console When she got pissed off/moody though couldn't really tell if it was because of her, or if she was on the rag, but when she was moody she was moody =/
