Wow the unit yakumo has is indeed really sweet looking. The lights alone are worth buying it

 

Not to rub salt in the wound, but I had one of these (no box unfortunately) in fantastic condition w/ some games shipped via EMS to the states for $160. Keeping in mind, shipping is $60, that's not a bad deal.

It tooke me forever, and I finally had to sell it on Ebay.

I got mine MINT and I mean really MINT like new complete with all papers and original packing with not a single dent in the box from Trader in Akihabara for 22000 yen (about 200 US dollars)

That sounds like a fair deal, Yakumo.
There was one in roughly the same condition as mine on Yahoo Japan w/o the box that sold or 13,000 yen, so I thought I offered a very fair price.

I got the JVC version from the US a year or three ago.

Brand new, cellophane etc etc the lot.

I had the guy deliver it to my parents who were on holiday to save on postage & possible customs fees.

Bless my parents they took it out of the box etc (and threw it away) to make it easier to transport :smt011

What's up with the M2? That remote pad looks cool.

So, the only differences between the original and the M2 (other than the pads), is that the original has funky lights, and a Karaoke function?

Both look damn cool to me. But the missus would lynch me if I got another console.
