discover the miracle of charter flights and stand by last minute fares.

Round trip is $450 right now, Newark , NJ, USA to Narita.

Short train ride to Tokyo from narita, drop off the luggage and take the local train to one transfer, then straight the electric town.

Buy one Neo Geo cart SYS and some fm towns games for ebay, and the airfare is paid for already :smt023
It's been far too long for me, I'm trying to find a way of staying there permanently and finding myself a nice wife :smt061

Or tell your mother/wife to become a flight attendant.

    Narita->Dallas one-way fares:
    Cattle Car: $125
    Business: $250
    First Class: $350

Flew home first class last month... they give you everything but hand jobs.

I also recently got myself a JVC Wondermega and is tied for the hottest system with my Panasonic Q. Personally, whether you pay paid 150 or 650 the system is worth it cause its not only beautiful but a damn good combo Mega CD/MD, with the extra audio features, karaoke and S-video. Personally, I think the JVC one is THISMUCH nicer than the Sega one just for it not having the white border around the CD rim, but its like saying one is an A+ and the other an A, both are beautiful machines and the Wondermega 2/X'Eye was just a shame to me for looking so ugly next to it...

Yeah, the second model is quite ugly I think. I also like the Mega Drive and Mega CD logos on the first JVC Wondermega. They're missing from the Sega model.

Yeah, I agree, though, sadly, my logo sticker was coming off, so away it went :( BUT, it still looks sexy! LOL Also, though not really that great of a pack-in, the Wondermega Collection CD only came with the JVC model, right? Anyhow, Im lovin my Wondermega now and now finally getting the chance to play a few Mega CDs i've always wanted, and playing Urusei Yatsura right now :)

I`ve never even taken my X-eye out of the sealed bag it came in after my parents through away the box (see earlier post)

Does it have the same pretty lights as the Jap 1 ???

And does anyone ever use their CDX as a portable machine or are they all in the cupboards gathering dust??

You see the pic at the beginning of this topic? That's exactly what the X'Eye looks like. The X'Eye is the same thing as the Wondermega 2 in Japan and, sadly, many of the things that made the original so beautiful were taken out in the redesign (to cut costs Im obviously guessing). Taken out were the nice audio enhancemnets, the automatic opening cd lid, and, sadly, the sexy lights. Even more baffling to me is that when JVC brought over the Wondermega 2 here, not only did they give it a crappy name but took out the S-Video output!!! Why??!!!

Ooops, sorry! I meant over "here" as in the US. But it still makes me wonder why, you know? It's not like taking it out REALLY made a big difference in a price cut. Anyhow, its actually nice seeing some of my MD games and CD's in S-Video quality...yes, its only a bit sharper, but I notice the little things so to me it looks THAT much sharper :)

Actually you can easily add S-video output to X'eye, since it uses the standart CXA1145 video encoder....I've done it on my unit :)

Well, I know you can add it, but not everyone wants to take apart a system to do it, you know? Its just very odd that they took it out to begin with...
