The only that's surprising about that is that there's only two HotD2 quotes, you could fill the whole list with just stuff from that game. One of my favorites, "The door....OF fate...SHALL open" never gets any love.
Haha, Good stuff. Man I think in 5-10 years we will look back and question how we put up with the bad VO in the early days. Also yeah some where not horrible. I'm sure they could have came up with worse but hey they got some good gems in there.
Should have just played the entire dialogue from HotD2, and renamed the video "Best Videogame Voice Acting of All Time". Then again, the "The Space Adventure" Chopin clip is probably my favorite ever.
Yeah but even during the PS2 era there was a lot of really bad VO in games. It's only been in the past 5 years that VO have gotten to be actually good.
My vote goes to Deep Fear on the Sega Saturn. In that a) it rips off Resident Evil so much that it steals all the bad voice acting, and in b) the character of Dubois has the most hilarious voice of all time! Check out the following vid, skip to 7:50 to see the first cutscene with him in it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxH-OgPOLOQ I seem to remember Official Sega Saturn magazine (UK) at the time describing him as the first ever gay video game character...
How did that video not have "Die Monster! You don't belong here!" Some of those were pretty funny to watch though.
That was a laugh! So bad yet so funny. Not one of those samples was any good. Awful Accents, cheesy one liners, sounding as if they were asleep and one guy (Rockman) couldn't even pronounce his lines  Classic! yakumo
