    Correct. They still function, and work for majority of the games. It's just easier with a flashcart these days than a unit that takes CD-ROMs with a 256Mbit limit.

    I wouldn't say its uncommon but not really rare either. I see them pop up here and there around a month or two I'll see one pop up on e-bay for BIN or best offer.
