    i'm guessing they must be rare as fuck :p or who ever has them is keen on not releasing, or isn't allowed to for legal reasons?

    While they are rare, that kind of comes with the whole prototype territory. I'm going to guess #2 as well; though, to be a bit more optimistic, I'd maybe think that many people who have Contra protos did not come across this thread yet.

    I wouldn't stick too much with possibility 3. It's kind of true like a gray area, but again that applies to most all prototypes. Most of these must have changed hands a few times over these past several years; well, many Contra protos I'm after, anyway. I know it's true for the ones I have. Plus the Contra series isn't nearly as popular as it used to be, and barely any attention, if any, is being given to it from the company's side.

    Its all in patience mate :) chances are there are some really neat review builds out there or SOMETHING that is being kept safe, and you would be suprised how many people own betas but have no clue this site even exsists, so at that point there isnt much you can do but bump, and wait, luck will need to be on your side here haha, there always is the possibilty that a member on here has one build, maybe even 2, but they were given strict orders not to discuss it when they purchased it, its all a luck game my man, for years i never would of even thought someone would own dead rising betas, and boom, i come onto this site and not only does someone one ONE... BUT SEVERAL builds :p

    +1 respect for living in canada ;)
