WTB: Half-Life Series related stuff (Demos/Promos/Betas/anything!)

Hi everybody! I am Half-Life collector and I'm looking for any stuff related to the series (Half-Life / Half-Life 2 / Expansions & Episodes / Portal / even games on GldSrc or Source Engine). If you have anything like GD-Rs of the Half-Life for Dreamcast, alphas, betas, protos, demos, promos and/or rare packaging of any Half-Life game for any platform, please do not hesitate to contact me!

This is a list of some stuff I'm currently looking for:

Half-Life Video White Label for Dreamcast ( P/N: 950-0124-50 / 952-0117-50 ): this is the only picture of the disc I could find:



I'm a serious buyer with good feedback on ebay and I have bought from others members here on Assemblergames too, i'm willing to pay some serious cash for rare stuff. Thanks for reading!

*Found* Half Life Preliminary Findings: Disc that was given away in stores when the game was set to a 1997 release, it contains the same videos as the ones in the Diablo: Hellfire expansion disc.

*Found* Half Life 2 Footage CD: Also a disc with videos that could be found in the Counter Strike: Condition Zero boxed version published by Sierra.

I dont know about the exact price, but Im willing to pay what it is worth. I think it would need to be checked with someone who knows exactly about this stuff, even more since the game is leaked, but Im open to any discussion about this.

How rare is the gold box for HL2 at this point? Its a shame my outer box is in crappy shape (and I have no idea where it is, which doesnt help)

 

Yea! I think is exactly that, but to be completely sure I will check it in the night

It is kinda rare right now, but from time to time it appears somewhere, sadly I'm always late on the sale

 

ok I just checked the disc and sadly it is exactly the same version. There was a really tiny chance of it being something different and new, I had hopes but oh well hehe

Those two promo discs are different, check the company logos at the right side, you can tell it's not the same stuff on there.

A tiny bump and some stuff removed from the list, I just found the HL2 Gold Box and postcard! also thanks to all the people who have sent me messages until now and wanted to help me out :thumbsup: awesome support

 

Hmm, it's common, but forgotten and obscure enough to be easily overlooked. So it might make an interesting add on for a Half-Life collection. Get yourself OPM disc 57 for it's hidden content:

There are supposedly 2 variants on the disc, if you care about the details on the data side of the disc

 

Hi floodmenow! I already have the OPM 57 disc, but it is the first time I heard about two variants. If the data is virtually the same, then I don't think I'm very interested in looking for it. Anyways thanks for the reply and the information!

 

Yeah IIRC the data is the same, it's just some useless manufacturer numbers or whatever ^_^

hi attben! yeah I cant believe I got my hands on a copy, the disc was on ebay on the same month I bought the other stuff, too much luck on october. You just need to keep ckecking on ebay every single day!

On my side I would kill for a big boxed copy of Initial Encounter like the one you have in your collection, that one is really awesome!

 

Lucky you got in on that Preliminary Findings disc, I was waiting for the price to drop before grabbing it
