WTB Halo 2 Multiplayer beta Disk

Hey guys I am looking for one of these disks.



Putting a bounty of $700 for a minty disk, possibly more if the original paperwork and such is included.

 

I've been looking for the exact same thing for years. It seems to be a holy grail of sorts. I have Halo:CE and Halo Reach green disks, but I've never even heard of anyone saying they own a Halo2 internal disk, let alone offer one for sale. I have the Halo2 beta .iso of course. But I don't know if it's the same or not. Hopefully somebody on this forum has a few lying around and both our dreams can come true!

 

The ISO is the same (if you got the original, untouched dump). I still know someone who owns it, but they will have to come out on their own.

 

Its amazing you have the Halo CE green disk but not the H2 beta since arguably thats more rare. But then again I am in the same boat you are in. But there used to be many for sale but that was back in 05-07. I even bought the 2 laminated card that came with it off ebay a few months back. But still no disk =/

By any chance do you collect sealed halo games?

 

Unfortunately, I do not have any sealed Halo games. I don't really collect retail stuff, as anyone can buy it. I'm more into betas, dev hardware, and prototypes.
To clarify, I have the preview disk for Halo:CE PC.

I'm currently looking for a preview/green disk of Halo2, Halo3, and ODST. I don't particularly want a Halo Wars disk. xD

What I'm planning to do is get the preview disks nicely framed with a poster for the game, after I make copies of course.

So you have an actual green disc for Halo PC, or you just have one of the Marketing Gold discs?

 

Ahh icic thats cool. I would love to see some pics of the betas/prototypes of the halo stuff you got. As for previews I only have the green Halo Test disk, Halo PC marketing gold, Halo PC media press white disk, and the silver and green halo preview disks.

 

My mistake, went back to look. It is marketing gold. Sorry for the confusion.
What's the Halo Test disk? Haven't heard of that one.

I have a halo 2 disc and the laminated cards somewhere. I don't have the two bits of paperwork though. I'd need to check the condition of the disc, but unless my XBox chewed it up at the time it should be in good condition.
