I'm looking a this device called IS-NITRO-CAPTURE created by Intelligent Systems. Both the DS-Version and the newer DS-Lite-Version are fine.

With this device you can capture screenshots and videos from Nintendo DS games. It can also be hooked up to one or even two TVs.

It has not showed up on eBay even once as far as I know. And I already tried getting it by writing to Intelligent Systems directly. They said I have to ask Nintendo of America for overseas sales, but they didn't reply. So I asked Nintendo of Europe. They said they don't have enough of them, so they will not sell it either. I guess they will only sell it to real developers...

 I spent a very long time searching for this device, you're my last hope!

    Thanks alot!

The fact that NOE even responded about something like this is surprising. Even more so is the fact they didn't outright reject you but gave you a reason. If I were you I'd politely email them back and ask if it would be possible to be put on some sort of waiting list. It might only be a slight chance but it is a chance so I'd run with it. Expect to pay developer prices if you do get lucky though.

If two TVs are connected, each TV shows a different DS screen. If only one is connected, both DS screens are shown on one TV.

Why don't they just include an AV-out on all handhelds? They do it with most digital cameras, so I don't think it would be too cumbersome or expensive. All you'd need for the plug is either a 2 or 3 pronged headphone adapter.

    Hmm, still no offers. :-(

I wonder if there's anyone here who has access to the store of www.warioworld.com?
I'd like to know the price. I know for sure it's more than $1500.

Please let me know! I'll be trying to pay what it costs.

    Yeah, that's it!
Nintendo (and some Japanese stores like Pokémon Center) use them to show off new games!

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one either. I got to use one when playing a debug build of Mario Kart DS. I got a few pictures, but I'm not sure where they are now. I wanted to get some more detailed photos of the setup, but the Nintendo rep stopped me because he wasn't sure whether or not it was meant to be under NDA rules:crying:

EDIT: They had it connected to two plasma screens, in case anyone is wondering. And the game looked surprisingly good considering how stretched the image was.

I thought the same thing! I definately have been keeping my eye on the Nitro-Capture system for awhile now, ever since I saw this picture...

Mine seems a bit dated (Looks at that DS!) compared to your pictures though, so I am glad I saw them! First time I have seen the back of this blue box too! :icon_bigg

seen one, not for sale though

I got to play around with a few of these at E3 last year. Nifty little units, I remember playing Harvest Moon DS on two nice LCD TVs at Natsume's booth. Unfortunately, all I was able to take away from them was a t-shirt and a plush sheep. I guess thats not too bad :p
