WTB: IS-NITRO-CAPTURE (Nintendo DS Screen Capture Device by Intelligent Systems)

I think Dr_Slump might own a Nitro devkit, the old-styled ones, with the proto-DS shape attached.

The IS-NITRO-CAPTURE is also available for print magazines. Tell them that you're working as a journalist for a popular magazine or internet site. Propably it works :thumbsup:

After I found out what it could do I got hold of one a few months back, used it for a demo of something that I was working that unfortuantly doesnt seem to be going anywhere now :-(

Very cool piece of kit, wish I could have kept it to play some games with!!

 

I think it's possible, if you are experienced in social engineering.

 

Bound to note that the IS-NITRO-CAPTURE doesn't capture sound.
Hudson Soft also made a similar capturing kit.

Well yes, but it's a bit annoying. Need another capturing software, and sync sound with video, etc.

 

Capturing sound extra doesn't bother me much.

Been doing the same thing when using my camcorder to capture the DS screen. But this sucks. It's nearly impossible to capture both screens at the same time with a camcorder. Even just one screen is difficult and the quality is bad (makes the game look worse). Looks like Nintendo wants their games to look worse than they are... I really don't understand why they just won't sell it to people who are willing to pay the full price. It's not like it can be used for stuff like piracy or anything.

 

Can you suggest a decent software to capture long streams of sounds?
And then mix back into a video? (virtualdub shall do that)

 

I usually use my MP3 player's line-in port for that. It captures in 320kbps MP3 directly.
And yeah, VirtualDub.

I finally got my hands on a IS NITRO CAPTURE UNIT!! NDS Lite Version with Wireless Antenna attached!! Love the unit!! Can't wait to snag up the 3DS Capture & Debugger in same box!! Yea!!
