Does anyone have one of these pads that they would be willing to part with?

I have looked off and on for a while and they are quite elusive. Thank you very much

Maybe there's a chinese, extremely crappy Saturn-like PSX controller somewhere, but definitely it's not licensed by Sony or Sega.
If you find one of those don't expect it to last more than a couple of months...

Yes, it's 100% NOT fake. Sega used to sell them at Sega Direct but they are no longer available just like the USB PC version.

of course they re not fake. They re amazing and I m very upset they were discontinued. They come in a wide variety of colours as well!

So, how much would one of those cost in good shape, second hand? I m mostly enquiring about the USB PC version.

Years ago I also thought about getting one for PC, although from second hand. I would hate to use a new one... It would be better in a collection ;) .

In my opinion, this has been the most comfortable controller for 2D games.

What is wrong with the Street Fighter capcom special controllers they released for the PS2?

They used to sell them at my local Blockbuster and they came in a nice Streetfighter Box. They appear to EXACTLY like Saturn 2 pads?

I thought about this but I do not want any issues regarding mapping of the buttons. Plus, I would really just like to have one of these controllers.

I saw those Street Fighter pads at Game Crazy a while ago, but I read a comparison between that pad and the Saturn PS2 pad....apparently the button feel is a little squishy (on the SF pad)....I suppose its a matter of taste/preference.

A lot. If I found one I'd keep it but if I found another (probably never will) I'd want at least 5000 yen for it due to them being impossible to find.

50 USD is a reasonable price, but 50GBP is not in my view.

Those controllers are the 2D gamer's best tool and the D-pad is heavenly! I wonder why they were never released outside Japan.

I went to Game Crazy today and found one of those used Street Fighter pads....and I did not buy it. Something about the d-pad just felt....off...it just did not feel right. I found a Darkstalkers edition PS2 pad on ebay brand new in the box (trading cards and all), but the bidding starts at $105 USD...wtf! I am almost tempted to get it because I don't know when another one will turn up...but I'm sure after I get it, I will find one for half that - isn't that always the case in this biz lol

Yep, these pads are real. I have in my hands two Saturn -> PS2 pads and two Saturn -> USB pads.

I purchased them when they were avaliable new since I really like Saturn pads and on a hunch that they would be impossible to get later. :)

If you keep searching ebay, you might find some though!
