Looking for a Sega Saturn Model 2 CD Laser Assembly with 32pin IC, I need the whole assembly not the laser. My system lags so badly when trying to read anything and will not load anything even audio cds. So I think something might be broken and this might give it life again, I would like to have the laser still able to read games. Thanks for anyone able to help.

I think I also have one as well. JVC Saturn CD-ROM assembly. But APE is a good guy. You should get his.

Thanks APE I will do a double check it's not the region free bios I installed that is causing the issue first and then hit you up.

Unlikely but possible. I did a RF install on a model 2 only to find the thing wouldn't read games reliably. Installed a modchip into it and suddenly it'd boot originals and burnt games but with some very serious issues on the VDP2 graphics side of things.

Virtua Cop and Sonic Xtreme had some issues that someone suggested were VDP2 related. When I removed the BIOS for this one I clipped it out but I should check to see if there are any soldering issues on anything nearby.
