    Hey Everyone,

I'm looking for a couple Sega Saturn VA0 Model 1 parts. I'm looking for:

    - SH1 Board
    [IMG]

    - Ribbon Cable
    [IMG]

    - PSU Insulator Sheet (Goes on the metal shielding to keep the PSU from shorting)

Willing to spend up to around $35 CAD (Including shipping) or $45 CAD credit for my store (See link in signature)

Thank you for your time :).

Unfortunately, I don't have any spares - but it's worth pointing out that the cable in that photo is the wrong one for a VA0. The correct cable is longer and has a right-angle bend in it. I just took a photo of one (and the PSU insulator sheet) for reference:

Thank you Trimesh :), updated first post. Would you be able to do me a favor?. If you have free time, would you be able to measure the exact length of the ribbon cable?. I'm thinking of stocking up on replacement ribbon cables.

I have the board and the cable if you need it. Seem to have lost the insulator sheet.

Just for future reference, u could get a standard ffc cable with 20 pin 1mm pitch, and fashion your own plastic insulator, u would just need to source the pcb.

Thank you bud. I know a few online electronics retailers has them in stock (Didn't have the length back in '12 when i looked), It was rather a matter of; Find all things in 1 spot, save on shipping costs and also put the money back into the community.

That's good that u got all the parts sorted. Retro parts are becoming increasingly rare, we modders are having to become more intuitive in sourcing parts. Good luck with your mods and repairs.

OK, looks like you got it sorted - but for future reference the FFC is 20 conductor, 1mm pitch, 18cm overall length, contacts on same side both ends, and the cable is folded over 14cm from the end that connects to the SH1 board.

The largest dimensions of the insulating card are 136mm x 68mm - on my machine, only the single slot at the front end engages with anything (a metal tab on the screening) and the slots on the right don't do anything.
