WTB: X360 Dev Kit(or whole set)

WIlling to pay first since I am a new user. I am trying to get my small development company off the ground.

There's a crazy demand for them due to people wanting to hack Halo 3.

 

All I want is to create games while some lonely hacker wants to hack Halo 3 Would a demo kit work fine by itself?

 

AFAIK yes, if you get your hands on the XDK software, however a demo unit lacks the side car so no dvd emulation or true memory debugging.

 

Where's this congo line? Has no one seen my post?

By the way, I am a game programmer and have never had a need for the sidecar (maybe towards the end of the game dev cycle when you need to test out the speed of loading assests). You can view the memory in the memory watch... for games, what else do you need? You can do pix debugging too.

There is a huge congo line..theres a bunch of rich 14 year olds buying dev kits to try to hack halo 3, usually they just get used for there dev hardware abilities by people that actually know how to modify content.

Funny what kids will do to see something in there games that isnt supposed to happen.:110:

And for the rest of us that have been trying to get a dev kit that have honest reasons of using them its been quite dificult to locate one..and when we do locate one(refering to me) we usually arent ready because they can pop up out of the blue without any warning.

That is so freaking true... two have popped up in the last week few weeks and I would so take them, but the only way i'd be able to afford them right at this moment is if I go stand on a street corner and pretend my name is Shirley... :noooo:

 

I wonder if any of these people actually ever get PM's about peoples dev kits...ive never made a topic stating i wanted one, but that was because i figured it was a hopeless effort.

Maybe im wrong.
