    I'm kind of interested as well, as I do reviews but have been unable to obtain one from Microsoft's PR firm. But what is the asking price for these nowadays?

    For preview I could see, but if youre just reviewing final copies, you really dont need the Debug kit :p Just a comment

    allot of review copys also come on debug-format... so a debug is really a essential kit.

    Well if you arent getting a debug kit from the company, most likely your reviewing the final copy, and not a prerelease ;)

    My PR contact has been telling me I can't get a debug till I have the code, and most of the publishers are telling me I can't get the code until I have a debug. Catch 22 =/

    But I do have publishers willing to send me stuff once I have one. Having some lead time for the places I write for would be nice too.

    If you don't get a debug-kit from Microsoft you probally won't get debug code's from them aswell. However the other companys probally will send you codes if you have a debug, since thats more exposure for them.
