18x18x12 I'm sure its just a shipping box and not the original

 

Where's this oldengineer guy, I'd assume if anyone has one, he would.

 

It was completely plain white box. Just like an ordinary retail Xbox box but white. It has a hole in the back for the serial number as well just like a retail box would.

I have offered $100 to someone just for the box before but never got an answer back. :/

 

Then an additional box for the controller, 6 games and possibly replacement cd drive?

 

I don't know about a replacement drive but everything else you said is correct. Only Amped wasn't included in the shipping box it had to be picked up later.

I'd love to see pictures of what you have. =)

 

Well I should be getting my 3rd 2001 launch console this coming week, I'll inquire about this "white box" that they came in.

 

A long time ago a Microsoft employee sold a Launch console that was brand new and unused and everything was there even the shipping box. He accidentally bought two so one of them went unused. Then he modded the other one. Haha.

 

Im guessing your answer will be no, but any chance you'd be willing to part ways with one if your launch team units for the right price?

 

Sorry I did not get back to you guys til now. moontar has answered the questions already. Not many people know about the white box. I also did not know that they came with a replacement CD drive? Why a CD s drive and not a DVD drive? I would like to see what that is all about. I never heard about that before!

 

Microsoft did not supply replacement DVD drives with the Launch units, just had the 2 owners confirm that.
