Its a dvt4, tonight im back home and have access.
    DVT4 is a 1.0 I believe with MCPX X2
If I have time ill hotswap again and try a Linux DD full backup.
I did not yet tried Liveinfo, will try. Also most programs are correctly signed and will run but seem to crash on "reading" the key.
Im not so happy about unsoldering anything from my dvt4, is it grounded by default? or can I put some lines up high (like 5v) to enable a remote read?

Sadly DVT4s are out of my comfit zone, on retail consoles you can build a cable to read the eeprom in circuit.

Allso if I am not mistaken but doesnt DVT consoles encrypt the eeprom differently to retail consoles, maybe that's why all the homebrew you tried so far failed.

PS Liveinfo doesn't run from the xbox side, its a pc based app used to decrypt eeprom files and show you things like the live ID ,HDD key etc... but it only supports eeproms from V1.0 and 1.1 atleast the version I got, if memory serves there are other apps that can do newer ones.

    LiveInfo doesnt read debug/dvt4.

You can dump them the same way, but they are encrypted differently.

LiveInfo can read all version EEPROMs now. Apart from Debug/Development.

couldnt you dump it via software on the xbox itself? while the contents are encrypted - the method to read/write them is exactly the same.
