Thanks for the photos! i always wondered what those 2 red translucent connectors were on beta 2 white kits, i always though they were sidecar power, but then i was like.. A: why is there 2.. and B, why are they coming FROM the console XD
Hi all, some of you may have seen my post I made in the unbelievable deals thread in the BST LINK HERE It wasn't exactly an unbelievable deal, but it was a good deal for me at least, as I have been keeping an eye out for one, and the last one I saw fairly priced was £19 alone, so for cheaper and a 60GB HDD included was sweet. Here are the pics, also a bonus one just for this thread Bonus, how it fits snug on a kit
4 main ways to obtain kits like these.... - Opportunity - Money - Luck - Knowing "a guy" ...... at least in my own experiences anyhow...
Yep. Very true. On a side note, found another photo of an XDK I used to have. At the time, I didn't realise it, but I had a kit which was the transition between XeDK and XDK, because it was before launch date and had the extra barcode. Its not a grey coloured kit funnily enough, it was a demo kit however in retail white.
Been a while since I posted anything new. Here is a little teaser of the beauty. I'll be posting more photos within the week.
This thread is amazing, those 2 XeDK Beta 1 kits are beautiful. What exactly does a Lamprey board do?
It can debug various things on prototype consoles such as the RF board. I believe its main use is to Turn retail CPU encryptions to devkit as far as I've heard, but without a PC running connected to the board and the software to do so ... i guess its just a little motherboard cool none the less
If you love beta 1s, then I'm sure you will love this next little beauty. As far as I'm aware, it's the first of it's kind to appear in the public eye.
