Not sure what it's worth, but it looks very close to the final controller. Are there any differences you could point out?

Seems like it is close to final, however I kept it wrapped. It is cool though b/c it came with a dev and has the xna background on the box which I have never seen.

They really aren't worth much, whatever someone wants to pay really. I had a few of the original style (plain white boxes), that didn't really effect the sale price much, not that I didn't try!

Nope, but I don't follow 360 stuff. Id imagine (total guess) that it is how they are branded now, but someone with more experience with 360 dev hardware will chime in shortly.

It should be the same as retail. The last Krypton controller I saw sold for $50. A new white, wired 360 controller on Amazon costs $31.95.
On a good day I figure you could get $50. A bad day, $30.

Doesn't it mean anything though as to where it came from and the xna case it is in?

Well, perhaps I'm not understanding your item. I understand it is sealed in plastic, is this plastic any different from the plastic a retail controller comes sealed in? Could you take a better picture of the box? Maybe from like a 45 degree angle?

I know the low values are a disappointment, but if someone took the sealed 360 controller from a retail bundle and put in the XNA box, they'd have the same thing.

Please prove me wrong though! I want you to have something unique and special. Check the back of the controller (where the battery goes) for some unique label or marking! :)

EDIT: Please don't listen to just me. I hope others will join in to give you second and third opinions.

I tried arguing the same thing about my white dev boxes, the demand isnt there, and the value just isn't high for what amounts to a box.

Honestly, friend. You might want to consider keeping the controller and selling just the box.
If you can take a good picture and if it's cool enough you might get $10 or $15 for it!

It offers no additional functionality to a retail controller so only has collectable value. I'd say around £40 would be fair.

I dont think MS sent the 360 Dev packaged in the box with a controller so it looks like they just put retail ones in a rebranded box along with the purchase. Youll see these with most new dev kits, everything having it's own packaging. I'll guess $75-$100 because it's pretty much a retail wired controller only in a different packaging. So the box pretty much boost's the value.
