    Hi All,

Picked these up for £65 for the 5 and I want to sell 4 of them but I need some help pricing them.

I have tested them with PSUs that I use so I would be looking to sell them as a unit only.

Strictly no selling or offers in this post, I will upload a new post in the market place when I have a price.

I am located in the UK

They are Xenon (12v 16.5a) models if that helps.

They look to be Jasper Development Kits. The market really died on Xbox 360 Kits I'd say $150-$230.

Would that be per unit or for the 4 ?

    Cheers

Wow, that's not bad. I paid approx $85 for the lot, with the sidecars should I go through them to clone any data from them? Just these came directly from development studio, they were removed by a clearance company after they closed.

Absolutely. I would recommend installing neighborhood and then using that to FTP over the contents of the drives. If you need any help let me know :)

Hey man, I work in IT so I know how to FTP etc but I haven't ever FTPed to a Xbox 360. Is it as simple as connecting it to the router and browsing to the IP address like any other device or is there a more backwards way to it being a games console?

    Cheers

Unless you run an app like FreestyleDash or something, it is not actually an FTP server. You need to install the software development kit, which provides a proprietary tool (Xbox 360 Neighborhood) for transferring files.

They are also not Xenons, they have HDMI. All XDKs will use higher amperage due to the sidecar, the only way to tell the motherboard is by the power socket.

Out of curiosity how did you get them? You said it was right from a studio, was it liquidation? You got a very, very good deal.

Yeah I had a look into that Neighborhood software and it looks straight forward. Regarding the PSUs does that mean with the higher ampage I will have to buy a specific XDK only PSU or can I use one of the Xenons that is the correct power rating for them ?

I got them from a clearance company that deals with IT Hardware upgrades. These where taken out of a dev office when they got upgraded bits of kits. They didn't know them from regular consoles :S so just listed them on eBay as 5x Xbox 360 Consoles. I am trying to get the info from what studio they came from.

    Cheers

Very cool. You need a 213w power supply, which is specific to devkits and kiosk units IIRC, they aren't that uncommon.

Can't find any based in UK, here's a search. Shipping the brick will cost a pretty penny

Also Storm, you don't have a spare 213w PSU do you so I can get these booted up and tested ? Seller said they fired up but that is as far as they went and I didn't realize you needed a special PSU for these. Cheers

Yeah I saw that one :/ Are you 100% sure I will need this PSU ? Just on the info sticker on the back of the Xboxs it shows the Power rating as 12v 16.5a 203w. Cheers

It will run with a normal PSU, you just can't use the sidecar

Ahhh right, does that mean I won't be able to extract data or get to the dashboard ? Surely they can't be that hard to find in the UK when there are loads on the US ebay :(

I'm not sure whether or not the hard drive will work, I'm leaning towards no. I'm actually not sure why there are so many in North America, they should be more rare. There are a lot coming from Canada, they might have been sold with retail console there?

You don't need the hard drive to get to the dashboard
