    Hey everyone.

I have this unit and it has no power supply. I have seen a bunch of dev/test kits being sold on here that are sold with a 200+ watt power supplies. However from what I can gather my unit is a 150 watt jasper connection?

The console is the one with the green side car.

Which power supply should I be buying to get this beast going?

    Thanks

If it has a sidecar you will be needing a 213w PSU.

I should have bought them when they were dirt cheap. I think they will be more and more money as time goes by.

Just so we are ALL on the same page....

....you need a 213W psu for the sidecar. Wasn't sure if that was made clear last time we were discussing this.

Just in case anyone is wondering why a console that should in principle require a 160W power supply (150W for a Jasper retail + 10W for the sidecar) actually needs a 213W one, the reason is pretty simple - the extra 10W on the XDK supply comes from increasing the current rating on the 5V rail from 1A to 3A (since the sidecar runs from 5V) - and the only PSU that MS ever made that had a 3A rating on the 5V line was the 213W version.
