Xbox Dashboard conceptart (2000)

I tried posting part names/numbers on my blog, one can find them here on AG randomly(names, part pictures, even sugestions on howto or what to do)

Nvidia NV20 card and Intel VC820 motherboard are a great start.
Then I just bought like a few more people here the parts to make it more complete (memory 128Mb , cpu (733Mhz) and a HDD of minimal 20 gig)
And it just works (also the specific USB card is good to have, it should have the OPTI 82C861 Chipset (the IC on the PCI card says it))

Trow it together and pop the disk in

 

If you build that alpha pc your explained, can that build also run the latest dashboard? Or any custom dashboards, or would that require coding it for the alpha build?

 

It can run the latest alpha dashboard, but anything else, including games meant for retail hardware, wouldn't work, since it simply isn't an Xbox.

 

This and if you need to ask your question, its not posible on the Alpha.

Nobody is going to reprogram or reversengineer anything. (only thing I have on my agenda so far is making a soundcard or a way to ignore it)

 

I'll purchase one of those soundcards from you when you succeed..
