Restore disks would delete anything thats on the box.

  3. If you don't have the SDK, you COULD use Xplorer 360 and open your hard drive in that. You should be able to view partition 1 in it

Shouldn't you just be able to turn it on and look at what appears in the XDK Launcher?

Xbox 1. Not 360. Though I guess they could be similar?

I believe you can still use it, although don't quote me on it as I've never actually done it myself.

Recovery Disks are easy as all hell to find just using google, just dont use it if you think something is on the system. Get a patched copy of some dashboard with FTP support or something, but dont go formatting stuff.

all the ones that weren't dead torrents were remote recovery's and me not having w7, makes the old sdk not work

but pached dashboard now theres an idea to get my stuf of it,

  11. Oh - right. In that case, not so sure if it would work.

I'm not familiar with original Xbox debug units, but as other people said - why can't you just view what's on the hard drive from the dashboard.

If you can't do that, then yeah, FTP'ing would be the way to go I suppose.

Using XPlorer360 or XPort will work on Xbox 1 harddrives.

Xplorer360 do support classic XBOX formats and partitions.
You should be able to browse FATX volumes with it.
