hi i have 4 xbox degbug kits but no xdk restore discs or any sdks please could someone help where i could obtain them thanks its the old type xboxs green type i would like to see whats on there hard drives ps thanks to this fourm has helped me before and thanks
If you don't have the SDK, you COULD use Xplorer 360 and open your hard drive in that. You should be able to view partition 1 in it
when i got my dvd-4 last month i couldn't find a recovery disc ANYWHERE, so if u get lucky please, do tell
Recovery Disks are easy as all hell to find just using google, just dont use it if you think something is on the system. Get a patched copy of some dashboard with FTP support or something, but dont go formatting stuff.
all the ones that weren't dead torrents were remote recovery's and me not having w7, makes the old sdk not work but pached dashboard now theres an idea to get my stuf of it,
Oh - right. In that case, not so sure if it would work. I'm not familiar with original Xbox debug units, but as other people said - why can't you just view what's on the hard drive from the dashboard. If you can't do that, then yeah, FTP'ing would be the way to go I suppose.
1. Remove HDD from console. 2. Insert HDD into PC 3. http://www.megagames.com/xbox/xbox_utils_hardware.shtml 4. Problem solved.
Xplorer360 do support classic XBOX formats and partitions. You should be able to browse FATX volumes with it.
