If the hard drive fails how could i make up other hard drive for it i know the original is ok as for now i want to ask is it posable to some how make up a clone say if i buy a 80gb ide is the lowest i can get now new costs £35 for 80gb 7200rpm. is there like a app like slayers disc? i was going to make one up as a back up plan for future.:thumbsup: if anyone know's.
Put harddrive in, then run the XDK software, all good. Just note that you have the HDD limitations of the original debug bios (cant recall the number at this point, 160/320gb?), since the extra partition isnt created (or allowed) like on modified bios
Could someone help me find where i can find the xdk software from the dvd drive. its my green xbox debug kit. i have one but dont run via the xbox dvd drive unless i can make one up.

Ok buddy. I did try the xplorer360 to get any info off the hard drive but would not let me? I think it may not work on that software.
What I did when my HDD failed in my kit, I got the widely available 5933 dash files, and made a xboxhdm disk, and as the HDD wasn't locked it worked pretty well. If your still after a recovery though, PM.
he can easily find torrents using google heh... but yeah iirc i popped a hdd in and ran a iso recovery and was good to go in my crystal.
