XBOX DEV/128ram I need your HELP !

Outrun 2 or Crimson Skies would be a fun one to try, but take a look at some of the earlier Xbox titles. DOA3 could look amazing, and even Halo would be neat.Fusion Frenzy and THPS2x too!

You need 2 things:
1) IDA (reversing software)
2) Xbox Flirt (signature)

Then You look for "1E0h" & "280h", by their instruction, and no, they are not always near each of them. Generally I search for D3D and D3DX adress.

 

So does it have to be the PAL version of the game?

 

I have a custom modded 128mb xbox. It is NTSC though, not sure if that matters. I'll dig it out this weekend and give some input if I can.

 

Yep, but didn't tried on the NTSC version.

no problem, even if your xbox is NTSC you can still start PAL game.


Also, I think I know why they where so much difference now, it's was "Xbox didnt initialize the extra ram right on boot for some reason" like Borman was saying.

 

Wish I had a ram upgrade and/or cpu upgraded xbox...

 

Double-S.T.E.A.L Second Clash runs default at 720p. Wondering if bumping to 1080i would do anything?

 

It can make the game better yes.

 

There is update to force games work in 720p mode.
