Yeah, I tried like everything. It's unmodded, I cleaned it out, stuck on new thermal paste, popped in a new fan, etc. I think the board might just be toast, I dunno.
well my soldering skill are non existant and since my modded xbox is awaitng to see if it can be fixed the vdigi vd-23 is probably going to be what i get as it can do XBOX, GC, PS2 too

think its about time i started scouring the local car boot sales! out of interest, how much you after for a green/Crystal case xbox (dont mind if missing DVD etc as i have that here (fingers crossed!))
Hey Diddy I would love to get a clear case of any kind. It can be clear, blue, red, any color other then green. You looking for any trades if you have a extra. Really? But how does that fix it? Is some chip defective that it replaces? I did notice the MCP chip getting hot or something, I don't remember, this thing has been sitting here still in peices for about a year lol.
check for one of the small resistor chips just aboue the video encoder at the top of the case for burnout, especially if its a earlier revision board with conexant chip
It's a 2004 Xbox is all I know, I'll check in a bit but from what I remember nothing was burned out or anything.
