That printing on the controller makes me upset The name "Xbox One X" makes me upset This limited edition idea makes me upset, just make it standard This video segment makes me upset because he didnt show unboxing it I dont think I cant be upset about any of this
I want the extra dickflops, but I can't justify the purchase when I barely have time to play my current Xbox one.
You all have good memory. But I am genuinely curious, as to why anybody would pick this up. The only reason I can think of is XBOX has this thing called Physical media, and even though you can get all XBONE games on PC, you can't necessarily get them at Retail. Just so you can't pet my Anti XBOX stance on fanboyism. I DO want to play a few XBOX games, Quantum Break I want to try, Sunset Overdrive, Killer instinct. Coming up Super Lucky's Tale and Cuphead. BUT most of those are on PC so....
I'm buying one. All grown up, no time for pc gaming and dedicating a room to it. Xbox under the TV in living room, just works, no settings or driver issues. Also, PC gaming is mostly a solo or online multiplayer experience. Consoles still have split screen multiplayer to play with my son. If playing them on PC works for you, then that's your use case. Doesn't mean its like that for everyone else. I got a 970m for my laptop, so that is a bridge between. But full blown gaming desktop with loud fans or liquid cooling? No time for that anymore. I could easily have gone with a ps4, but I just prefer the xbox interface and experience as a whole. But there's no reason to bitch and moan, can't possibly understand why anyone would buy this blah blah.
I don't know if "I don't have time for PC gaming" has the same weight it used to have. PC gaming has gotten a lot simpler in the last few years. But that's where our disagreement ends.
And Microsoft solved your disagreement for you. Play Anywhere titles, buy it once and play it on both Windows 10 and Xbox.
Not really, Play Anywhere take games away from the XBOX line up rather than adds them. If I was to ask what can I play on XBOX that I can't play elsewhere INCLUDING PC, What's the answer? The only real advantage XBOX has is physical Media. Ori and the Blind Forest has a physical PC release and I think that's about it.
"It plays better" is a totally subjective answer. Also quite fanboy. As good as it performs on XBOX One X, you can get at least 3x the performance on a Good PC. The only case I have for XBOX in it's favor is physical media.
