I was wondering if anyone has had the chance to compare Xbox 360 Live and the PS3's online service? Right now im mainly paying for Xbox 360 live to play Call of Duty 3, but because of it's crappy net code or whatever i cant join half of the games eventhough i have my router set up correctly. If PS3 offers good online play i might as well use that. (im not really interested in any other services live offers)
Comparison? Xbox Live to PS3 online? This is a joke right? Where are the camera's??? Anyway: This page of IGN's review might interest you: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/746/746533p2.html
I haven't tested PS3 Online since I got no PS3 and no intention yet to buy one. But from what I hear it's not as good as live, online on PS2 was not a good experience, I only had a good time with MGS3 Subsistence so far, actually a lot of fun. Sony has a lot to catch up but the fact that the PS3 can be upgraded through software I won't be surprised they come with something better sometime in the future. Makes you wonder what Sony has been up to since the release of the PS2 apart from cashing on the PS2 and PSP... and don't tell CELL... Xbox Live is great makes everybody interconnected, you can play very quicky online, GoW is lof of fun online though I'm crap at it. Burnout is good fun as well, I only found DOA4 the only frustating title to play online... Only downside is the price, but service level is outstanding so you can't really complain... My 2 cents... LOL, that's a good one. Live is WAY better! Sure, there's the cost factor, but how many years of live do you get ON TOP of the cost of the 360 to match the cost of the PS3? ;-) hehe.
xbox live is unified.. You don't have multi-user accounts across games. PSN work is just a net aware device.
