Hey, to be fair I said the game was crap well before the release. ;)

The fact remains it was a game that had been in development for awhile and suffered from serious quality issues when it was cancelled. As Yakumo says it can always be cool to see an alpha, but when there are limited funds you can't see everything.

One of the main reasons I made the original comment was to (hopefully) save folks the disappointment. After all, if you just wanted to see another alpha, this is a cool release (and honestly it may help emulator authors as well). If you were of the type who just wanted another "free game," well, this is going to be pretty disappointing.

this "alpha" is graphically OUTSTANDING for a 32X.

i think there's no room for debate on that point.

It does look great. I downloaded the .rar file they had on saturno.com but it also says that it won't play on emulators.... that sucks.. I'm sure a little hexediting will fix that.

Fantastic visuals and music, ruined by terrible gameplay? I wouldn't expect less from a Scavenger game, prototype or not!

This actually looks pretty cool. I remember hearing about an unreleased 32X X-Men game but never saw anything about it before. To me it looks like it could have been a cool game if it had been fully developed. I don't know about it ever being a gem or anything but it had the potential to have been a cool game.

32X with games like this could have done a good paper in 1993.

ABSOLUTELY FUCKING INCREDIBLE! I know it's been said already but those graphics are amazing.

But yeh it looks like gameplay is total shit but they could've taken the engine and done something interesting with it.

The engine is pretty impressive for 32X!, man that engine would be perfect for a sequel to the Atari Lynx game Electrocop.

Has anyone heard any word on if the author of KEGA or GENS plans on improving 32X emulation to get this running?

Thanks a lot to everyone. Talking in the name of SegaSaturno i must say that we feel really proud of helping the SEGA community.

That's our goal, and SOON you will see more "help to the community" hahaha!

And remember there's an english section on the webpage where you can post if you want.

    :)

    You'll know it soon :icon_bigg

    I have uploaded another video:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBxV1-uKwLo

Here's the Bishop Level -the other videos were from Wolverine and Rogue levels-. This is very empty, no enemies at all. We know there should be zombies around here through scans, though. Shame they aren't in this build :crying:

Is anybody there with a more advanced prototype? With Wolverine as playable character maybe? :love2:

Any news on if any emu authors are trying to get this working? Or how about videos of the rest of the levels for those who don't have flash carts :)
