    I've never seen that before -I can see (what I'm guessing is...) a demo of 'July', what are the others? And why is it so expensive? (is it just the rarity, or are they early demos with something interesting?)

    Very nice! Wish I bought one years ago, they were going for around £500 new at one point, in fact I think I remember seeing a boxed one sell for £300!

    Thats more than US $4000 for an unopened box that clearly has/had waterdamage.. I hope for the buyer the contents are unaffected, although it will probably never be opened anyway. :)

    I can see its had water that has dried in but it looks relatively limited and hasn't rotted the box. The packaging for the CX-1 is pretty good - the outer box is thick cardboard - those staples are biggest I've ever seen and its not easy to remove the damn things.....it has white styro foam inside and everything is in plastic bags.....so I doubt it would have been affected based on those marks, though the pictures don't show the rest of the box, so you never know..

    It appears to have sold for 431,000 Y, 2785 GBP, $4000 USD.....assuming it was a real bidder....

    99% to come sellers would t because they can't speak English. That is the main reason. Now if you can speak Japanese you'll find many will be willing to ship to other countries. And I mean really speak Japanese not use Google Translate.

    Or you could use a service. I buy items from Japan auctions for people. There are rules you must abide by of course.
