well you not pissed anybody off, it was this one guy. And on top he got this beta from somewhere at namco so they should look from who it came and how. That this ass tryed to sell it also here is more than natual since this is the board for rare and obscure stuff... they realy should think before act!
hmm, I suggest that all beta and unreleased sales take place in this section of the site from now on with no exceptions. It's the safest way. Pictures, videos and so in the normal section of the forum should be just fine though. Yakumo
Cease and desist letter for what? You're covered by the Safe Harbor provisions of the DMCA as long as you respond appropriately to requests.
I still have to find the author, who is a site member and remove them. Instead of simply reporting the post, they used it to drive traffic to their "news" site.

This really sucks since it wasn't your fault. I'll be honest I even found the forza beta being dumped a little too soon. What I don't understand is why someone would risk their job with recent stuff and sell it here?
I'd just remove the stuff, politely explain this is a public forum and thank them for notifying you that the post was breaking the law. No need for signed statements.
I'm not surprised word spread to Namco, There was a lot of coverage on the whole story posted on several sites already. N4G had it on there last week. Shame really its pretty discouraging for other members to put their stuff up if lawyers are gonna come knocking at your door. Hope things get sorted kev. Did anyone actually take the seller up on the offer?
