Yep. Just bought myself a gamecube for $30. It's the silver colored one and came with an orange controller. Bought from a store. However, I did not buy any games with it as I met my spending limit already.

I did already buy Zelda Twilight Princess off ebay ($20 cheaper than what the store had it) already. They also have Ikaruga for $40, but thats too expensive for the moment.

So yeh, list away at the games you recommend.

To be honest with you, I don't see why you spent 30 bucks on a gamecube, when you can just buy a Wii for the friendly price of 200 bucks used (I m pulling that right out of my ass, very fresh).

Certainly a bargain you might argue for 30 bucks, but since you just want to run original copies of games a Wii would make a lot of sense since it plays both.

On that note, MariokartD offers an excellent LAN mode not found on the Wii Mariokart and not possible to be played on the Wii. That game can be very fun if you ve got enough friends, enough Tvs, enough gamecubes, enough gamediscs and enough patience to find enough of the above.
