Might make me wiithink getting a PS3 if exclusive but it probably isn't...(so far it's only been annouced for Wii but Capcom would be stupid to let a game that did well on all 3 to just stay on the Wii)

I guess any hope for an HD mega man is lost but the retro love is a good thing.

I really am Getting a "first link to the X games since Power Fighters" vibe here though.

Funny word is out today though, I was just playing some hacks of 2 and V yesterday. (YOU gotta track down the endless mode hack of MM V it's even better than 9's)

 

Looks like a gigantic turd on an HD display though.

 

9 looked good on my cousins Plasma.

While we're on the subject of old school mega man. Has anyone played the Mega Man II hacks, Dues Ex Machina and No Consistancy? AWESOME and challenging hacks, to the point where you laugh when you die.

 

Good job, Capcom. But Mega Man Legends 3 is in another castle.

I always thought Zero was Protoman.

And MegaMan 9 looks fucking awesome on HDTV, as long as it's the 360 version. I've seen the Wii version and it looks rather inferior. No idea why. Shouldn't they both look the same?

I really want a new 16/32 bit Mega Man X now. Maybe HD 2D. That would rock intensely.

 

The 360 and PS3 versions are rocking higher resolutions than the Wii version.

It's lowres upscaled by the 360 (I guess). Still lowres though, 640x580, not true 720p obviously.

 

WHAT DOES IT SAY?
Even the download size indicates it's running at a higher resolution.

I bet if someone else pointed this out you'd say OH Ok yeah.

 

I've seen the game. It's a NES game upscaled. They did not redraw any of the sprites, much less all of them. Fuck. Capcom didn't even do it for some the characters in their "HD" series.
