I know 3 people that work at my local gamestop. But since my PS3,PS2,PSX,PSP,Wii,Wii U (vWii actually),XBOX,XBOX360 are all modded, I only HAVE to buy games for my 3DS and Vita (and 3DS I could just get a mod cartridge). But I have my 3DS set up with a Helena,MT zip code, so I usually just buy myself Nintendo cards and buy the games through the 3DS eShop where I can buy games and have no taxes. So anyway, when I go to the gamestop in Topeka, I only go to chat with my friends or buy a Nintendo card or buy a Vita game. But the Vita blows, and I only have it since I collect systems. So really, I only go to chat or buy Nintendo cards. WHICH MEANS...I'm in there longer than I would be if I were going in just to buy games. lol

for me there was only ever one game shop i went into (killed by digital purchases, R.I.P.)
never knew what to buy when i went there, most of the time i spent something from a hour to 3 hours there, and not once i left empty handed :p

the guy kept all sorts of goodies under the shelf for me, like for once he had imported 2 pieces of persona CE for psp (wasnt released in here) and he never put the other on display, instead sold it to me when i went :p

there'a a Gamestop in here now, went in once... never again.

The only place I'll browse for games is my local independent comic book store as they have everything from Atari to PS3 games in there and there's always something new and different (they got a 3DO in this week). I used to love Gamestation for their pre-owned and retro sections but ever since Game bought them out and then collapsed they've been resurrected as soulless real world mirrors of IGN's home page.

I remember when I was in the UK (Edinburgh) I saw a used game shop that was pretty cheap, they had a bunch of Genesis..Mega Drive games for a pound each. That's actually how I found out my Firecore played European games.

I've found that with a lot of games you can get them cheap, but old game stores will usually know the value of a game before selling it, and yeah you get a bit of a markup, but that's how they stay in business.

Why do you have your 3DS registered to Montana instead of Kansas? I legit don't understand.

Also I refuse to buy a PS Vita until either 1) someone comes out with a micro SD adapter, or 2) Sony rereleases it with micro (or regular) SD, I ain't having that proprietary bullshit.

For some reason at Gamestop, I bought a brand new PS2 Multitap for 97 cents, and a used one was 1.97.

The girl at the register was like uh, i dunno why that's like that.

Why would you even want a Move? I guess there's a few light gun games...

If it's a store like Gamestop then I could spend like...an hour or so max. However if it's a retro game store selling games from all gens...I could literally spend all day browsing

The only game stores I go into now a days are ones that are unique to themselves. The rare times that I go to Gamestop, I call ahead to make sure they have what I want, go in to purchase it, and leave instantly. I get all the information I need from the internet now rather than roaming the store examining things.

The move has some nice shooting games, most of them arcade rail shooter style. Sport champions is nice and the fight lights out. Medievil is also cool.
