It could have been worse, i used to put various game musics on loop for HOURS on end trying to figure out the songs on guitar. Video game music isnt what it used to be. Its crazy how good a lot of composers for 8-bit games were at rocking that sound chip (Ninja Gaiden NES and Megaman 1-6 come to mind). As far as the Man United joke... humor is 100% subjective. Some people find humor trumps tragedy, some use it as a way of paying tribute or honoring people. Not saying that is the case with this joke, but imo there is no such thing as a "wrong" joke. A lot of comedians say that tragedy+time=comedy

I remember shitting my pants over the SNES Game Genie boss code printed in EGM. The one screenshot they printed was the only one possible that could be conjured up that doesn't actually show that the code is actually an unplayable mess of garbage that half-ass replaces Ryu's sprites for one single round with a boss character. The character versus character code in SNES SFII is one of those things, along with all of Shang Tsung's MK2 transformations, that I'll be able to quote verbose 40 years from now when I don't even know my name and I'm pissing myself in a nursing home.
