Haha, that's funny ave. At the moment I also try to get all issues from the OPM. It is not that difficult, but I wanna have them complete with the unused demo. Quite difficult to get. You have a nice magazine collection. Very big. I sold recently almost all "Video Games" which I had. But here is a pic to make you a bit jealous All three are new, unread and without any damages. I want to put the VG in a frame and hang it into my gameroom. The first and the last. I try this now with the first and last OPM...but it is almost impossible to find them in a perfect condition. The first one is almost 15 years old... By the way: Check "Video Games" 10/96 page 44
That first issue looks really nice. I'm still missing issues 1+2... but the day will come. Just got 3/2001, although it is not the one which was limited to 350 copies but a later "special edition" featuring more content on the backgrounds of production, limited to only 50 pieces. I'll have to get the 350-copy as well though, for the *complete collection* O_O p44 10/96... *busy* ... ohh, yee, your and Robert's big moment XD
hehe, yes, the big moment. Is the condition important for you? Never knew that there was a later release of the last VG. Is it also numbered? If it is only limited to 50 pieces it is maybe more sought after. You will get it someday.
Sure the condition is important... collecting magazines in unread condition wouldn't make sense to me though, not at this point. None of my magazines (although some of the early ASM covers tend to be a little loose sometimes) have loose pages or covers, nor do they suffer from tears or stains. That's enough for me, I want to read them after all, as much as I want without hesitation because I could damage something. The 3/2001 Special Edition was published by the editor Ralph Karels some time after the release of the official 3/2001. It is also numbered and pretty scarce indeed.
My humble (read: tiny) "collection". Only one really worth mentioning is Issue 2 of Mega. And LOL at Paul Gascoigne on the front cover of Mean Machines.
@ cR@Zy!NgLi$h The mega issue 4th in from the left (white cover), does that contain the making of street fighter 2 article? Any chance of some scans of that issue, or any street fighter article?
Yes, 24 pages of it - my scanner is playing up, but I'll use this as an excuse to get it sorted and post ASAP.

Good too see some nice mag collections. I've had collections of Retro Gamer and Zzap before, but sold them before I moved. Retro Gamer mags hold their value really well, fair few increased in price! Still got lots of mags, albeit in digital form. Crash, Amtix, Commodore format, zzap, Atari User, Retro Gamer etc. Good to read once in a while, even if having them on paper is much better.
Just added these to my collection: Around 40 mags, mostly Club Nintendo, and some 64 Magazine, OK Consolas and SuperJuegos. By the way, to those who might be interested I am in the process of scanning all of my magazines and distributing them freely in PDF format available for download at my site: www.start-game.com The site is in spanish (though nav links are in english) so here is the direct link to the magazine section where you can find the list of magazines available for download: http://www.start-game.com/wiki/Categoría:Revistas You can discuss about them in our forum that has a small in-english section (besides the spanish main section).
Sure thing ;-) You can check this category for the 64 Magazine issues: http://www.start-game.com/wiki/Categoría:64_Magazine Right now I have only uploaded one issue of 64 Magazine. I am focusing mainly on scanning Top Kids right know which are the shortest ones (64 Magazine are the largest ones, tons of pages!). You can check the one issue I have uploaded of 64 Magazine here: http://www.start-game.com/wiki/64_Magazine_Diciembre_1999 Enjoy  !
Wow, I'm glad I wasn't the only one collecting magazines lol because to be fair most people just read them and throw them away. Very impressive collection guys! I used to have the whole collection of the original PlayStation magazines but these were left in our old house in the attic which I forgot all about, oh well! @ SuperPlay, I'm really liking your collection I love the way Nintendo used the idea to print their logo on the spine (genius)! Well here's my small collection which I'm going to part with: Here we have the 1st ever Special Edition Big Box Set XBox Magazine with a Blueprint sheet and VHS tape. Close-up of the Special Edition Xbox magazine storage box in mint condition. Close-up of the UK ETA Q1 2002 spec blue-print sheet.
Awesome collections. I'm regretting I threw away all my mags (PS1 and dreamcast era) because I didn't have room. The only thing I kept was strat guides lol. Does anyone collect strat guides too?
