This is by far my favorite video game cover

Both the logo font and the picture are incredible. Couple that with the fact it was one of the first games I really got into and that cover has good memories. Still got the original big box PC version somewhere. Used to love the old PC game boxes.

I really like the Raiden III cover. The Japanese artwork is good, too.

The ultra-big poster is something of a prize in my head though...I wonder how much one would go for nowadays.

 

I always get that one confused with Gynoug/Wings of War. But the Steel Empire art has a very Jules Verne/Laputa look to it. Nice choice.

 

Reminds me of all those Tamiya plastic models, they always had the most epic art on the front.



I still love the original FF Famicom games.

Man, the JP cover is sooo much better, though that one is pretty awesome.

 

About the same as any westernized Japanese cover.

 

I know what you mean i think its a nice cover but just dose not seem to do it.

Unfortunately I can't find a good picture of it, but I've always loved the Mega Man X3 boxart.

 

It's not terrible. It definitely pails against the original.
