I searched for a hobby thread and couldn't find one... and if there is one, it's probably old and most of the posts in it are from people who aren't even members anymore. Anyway, aside from gaming what else does everyone like to do? Pics of you doing said hobbies would be cool too unless pics aren't applicable to the hobby or they are inappropriate (had to include that for Barc0de ) First, I really like building, customizing, and overclocking computers. As can be seen in this thread: http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20302 I take it pretty seriously The other is mountain biking. I just got done with a little 15 mile ride today and it was a blast. Here's a pic from my ride today: The rocks in the water were pretty rough and caused me to swerve into that limb. I manged to get over the limb, but my foot slipped off the pedal and went into the water, which was really cold  -edit- Decided to include the pic of my foot actually going in the water!
i play the guitar and drums. and the occasional songs on piano. anyone remember snakeboards? i love to ride them in the summer ^^ sometimes i go skiing, but its f*****g pricey, so i do it rarely. as for other tech hobbies, i love repairing stuff, fixing broken beamers etc. and language learning, when i have some time left.
Photography. Here are a few samples of my recent work. And here's one from Video Games Live from last month
Me?? Well i play guitar, bass, keyboards and drums. I ride freestyle BMX, mostly park and some street, although my bike is out of commission right now:-(. Besides that nothing much other than playing and watching hockey and basketball ( Im way better at hockey than b-ball though).
Hmm, well I don't do it much anymore, but I like collecting action figures and stuff. I guess one of my main hobbies is goofing around on the computer. I like to organize stuff. I guess that counts as a hobby. Not just physical stuff, but stuff on my PC as well.
Wow Nitro, those are some awesome pics! Care to share more with us? Besides gaming, I enjoy programming stuff in PHP & mySQL, sometimes for money, but most of the time for personal use. I also play the guitar and bass, and a little bit keyboards, though it's been a while since I last jammed. And my favorite hobby besides gaming is practicing martial arts, I train K-1 and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on a daily basis, and have done for a couple of years now. It really helps to unplug from the day to day stress, and to stay healthy and in shape.

I make electro industrial/rhythmic noise music (http://www.myspace.com/keiautomata), collect old Apple stuff, tinker with electronic stuff, draw, and shop a lot. And raves. I love raves.
Nice music you have there... As for me: -Modding/building/overclocking PCs -Reading -Sketching (suck at it, but I'm getting there) -Jogging -Hiking -Camping -Fishing
i was into photography, I enjoy it though im nowhere near that good as him up there. I Bike, street bike a lot. i have not found any other callings then games truly speaking. :katamari:
-Making things do stuff (electrical engineering) -Artsy accompaniment to EE projects -Winning arguments (people love to disagree with me) -Trying to be a foodie
Hmm, I like drawing, playing Guitar, music stuff, cartoons, comic books, etc. I'm pretty hilarious too. I'd say music is the biggest thing I'm into next to games. I use to draw a lot and do a lot of art stuff but I just don't care anymore.
I really want to go into photography but I don't know what camera to use, I'm 100% noob, I wanna know everything there is to know lighting, set up,zooming, lens, etc.
My interest in photography started less than two years ago, and I'm been taught primarily by what I could find on the internet. There are a lot of good photography podcasts out there, ad a lot of basic tutorials to help you understand the Aperture/Shutter Speed/ISO relationship for exposure and other things. All of my photos when I started, sucked. In fact, most of them aren't that great now, but I just learn to take more bad ones in hoped that I get the good ones . I started with a Canon Digital Rebel series camera (mine was the XTi, otherwise known as the 400D) and grew from there. Photography is expensive though, and by now I have about $10,000 in photography gear. Just a warning for those that have an interest in the hobby. It can be addictive, and a money-pit
I'm a guitar player, although I also often sit doing MIDI material with soft synths etc. Also I have recently started getting into photography & video. Actually, more the video side than photography. Here is my brother in character doing some story telling. Don't ask! We've replaced the Panasonic HDD with a Canon XL1s, which is a far better video camera. Lastly, I snowboard again, after a break for over a decade.
I'm mostly into building, using and repairing PC's which i've always loved doing for as long as i can remember and although my PC is not particularly the best its good enough for the moment without needing too many upgrades for it. I also currently have a guitar (electric) but so far i've not really learned anything to do with it just because i've not found a decent tutorial that i can follow easily and i've just not been that bothered with it.
Forgot to say, I actually used to do a lot of outdoors stuff when I lived on the other side of the US. Around here there is nothing, but we used to go hiking and whatnot. Great canyons and stuff. Computers are fun too.
I just got into photography, picked up an olympus e420 super cheap,so i will fart around with that. Other than that, I've gotten into RC racing, both nitro and electric. I'm also still building model railroad stuff, and of course i could not forget my Mini. I also dabble in graphic and web design, although web design has more become my occupation more than anything. I also dabble a bit with architecture and CAD, but mostly CAD Ryan
