I like making electronic circuits, the other day I built an RGB to Composite/S-Video for a supergun using the CXA1645, and right now I'm building a Component to VGA transcoder using an LMH1251, I might post some pictures later.
It's a FLIRT, built by the STADLER RAIL Group in Switzerland, used in Switzerland, Germany, Hungary and other countries. More Info I really like this train, the model has some issues with not perfect aligned track. But the real thing is a dream to drive. Great (de-)acceleration (0 to 100 kph in 60s). I prefer 3 rail AC, a) because my father used it and b) it allows complex track configuration (i.e. loobs) without trick circuit.
Wow, nice pictures Nitro734! Pictures can bring an amazing perspective to life around us. Which sorts of non-fiction books do you collect and why Bibliophile? Nice second jump video, how was the experience?! Haha, you seem like a diver addict now! As for myself, most of my hobbies and life are built around the balance of three things: education, physical health, and healthy eating. Thus, I am currently focusing on or do: Play go (aka. weiqi, baduk, igo) Play the piano, which includes Music theory Music history Composition Read foreign, classic, and obscure literature Research and write philosophy Run Study the Japanese language and traditional culture Hobbies that I currently look forward to picking up in the future are: Creating some traditional fine art Growing an organic garden Incorporating strength training into my life Learning another language Translating books Writing a book
Thanks for the kind words, Bluehaze! If you want to see more, I usually post them on a weekly basis on my blog.

About the only other things I enjoy doing are bike riding and occasionally working on a model. Particularly Gundam ones. A couple years ago I tried to do golf, but to stay with it and to go play often gets expensive unless you have a membership.
Cool. Right now my super-small track layout is using 2 rail DC N scale track, but this summer I'm going to do a good railway layout with 2 rail HOm track, and catenary, so both rails are used as - or +, and same for the catenary. The problem is I won´t be able to use steam or diesel locomotives, but I want to do a layout of my zone's railways which are only electric so no problem, I'll have a hell of a job with getting the catenary to work perfectly though. :shrugCC system of course. XD
I used to be way into rock climbing, but have since waned do to lack of climbing buddies in the area. Biking and hiking are high on my enjoyable activities list. Camping is a must, at least a few times a year. Lately I've kinda gotten back into the PC scene. Used to build often then kinda got out of it after college. Just built a PC about the size of an XBOX 360 that's running a 9800 GT card. I also enjoy modding game consoles and electronics projects. Right now I'm working on a pretty sweet Dreamcast case-mod. I'll surely post it somewhere on the forums when I'm done. Also got a ridiculous all-in-one Supergrafx/PCE that "plays everything imaginable and doesn't look stupid" project for the near future  -ud
recently turned a small time thing into a serious "hobby". trying to bring small-time overseas bands to NA and give them exposure
Eh, enjoy watching sports (ie TV), doing nothing, and eating..Does that count? Actually i've been know to pound out a few beats on the drum or pick up the guitar every now and again..
I collect any non-fiction, but I especially like the areas of history, philosophy, and psychology. I also like out-of-print older books. Thanks. The experience is wonderful in an indescribable way. I think I am hooked now. I have jumped three times since that last one, and I am going for my Class A license now. It is something I think everybody should experience at least once in their lives. I used to study several languages, and it is an excellent choice of a hobby to pickup. I never thought about translating books, though. That would be a demanding, but rewarding, hobby.
i used to love climbing. my problem? not only could i not get out often enough i don't like using harnesses and ropes*never climbed anything big anyways* and seem to have the destiny to fall often. so maybe not a good idea for me anymore:lol:. if your ever in the Penticton British Columbia area you owe if to yourself to go to Skaha Bluffs. awesome climbing
