You're sick, head is stuffed up, you're hacking your lungs up, going to the bathroom every hour. IF you can muster any strength to play some games what are you playing?

I've found Super Puzzle fighter, Tetris and Lumines to be great at keeping your mind off pretty much anything.

GTA IV, GTA V, Skyrim and some old 6th gen games like Gran Turismo 4 or Halo.
These games always make me feel better.

For me, when I was really ill in bed, I ended up playing Harvest Moon Grand Bazaar for like...10 hours straight on DS. That really helped me through it and I thoroughly enjoyed it too.

From experience, I played Zelda II and Faxanadu and completed both of them.

Oh yeh! I was ill once before again years ago... I played through MGS Twin Snakes on the Gamecube and completed it in one day.

Caught some mean Chinese flu in north east China and spent the days in delirium, my wife was on a drip... As it slowly wore off I spent a fair few days playing Maximo and still remember it vividly. GTA3 was also good fun... Having the flu gives you all the time in the world to complete games that take a fair old while (if you're going for 100% complete, etc) the only problem is you feel like crap for most of it. :)

Played a lot of Donkey Kong 64 when I was sick. I remember I got it for Christmas and I was quite sick in that winter with all sorts of colds
Another time I was really damn sick with the flu when I worked in a kindergarten as a civil servant, and I played a lot of GTA IV during that time. I even completed it up to 99.75%. If the last remaining of the 200 pigeons is reading this... F**** YOU! :D

I don't get sick very often and when I did in high school my time was mainly spent doing make-up work and sleeping. My most recent sickness, which was a fever accompanied by just a horrible feeling all over, lasted about a day. I played some Shenmue and tried to sleep.

Old favourite RPGs for me. Final fantasy games, chrono trigger, star ocean, gives me time to beat secret dungeons and max out stats. Some of my best gaming experiences has been while feeling like death warmed up.

Last time I was sick in bed and couldn't go to school was spent playing Final Fantasy Dawn of Souls on the GBA. Portable games are always great in bed.

I always found myself playing Final Fantasy 7, or Dreamcast/PSX demo discs.

Streets of Rage 2. Sometimes I'll go through the whole game and not even remember having played the middle levels, it's like cruise control.

Anything really light and easy, and Nintendo. I always go for Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon games. For some reason they're really feel good games for rainy, sick, and in bed days.
