This is a compilation of pics i took going threw a shitload of n64 magazines. Some are small hints others are page wide. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfgkBqD6oUI&feature=g-upl&context=G2fd24d8AUAAAAAAAAAA
Good effort. Didn't know VRS Racer was by Marigul. BTW GT Rally was released under the name World Driven Championship. So did Stunt Racer 3000 ( Stunt Racer 64 ). VR 3000 = SCARS. Interesting the Cabbage description. EDIT: Very nice collection of magazines ( in mint conditions too ). Found anything about Die Hard 64?
Thanks for your reply ill look them up and edited them. Nothing on die hard 64 ,do you have a gues when it was planned 1998 /1999? ill look again. Most off the pics come from the UK magzine NOM.I have a complete serie off these magazines from 1993 till 2001 and a couple of 1992 and 2002.
Well, that's pretty interesting! Have you considered uploading a zip with all the pictures? I'm sure it'll be more "reader friendly" Thanks for your effort!
yeah i thought about making a list but nobody seems to read anymore. So i thought lets youtube this. And if something is really worth it i can scan it later.
Publisher never officially announced the game but IGN said some screenshots about Die Hard 64 were leaked on some magazines ( I believe in 1999 ). Never found them though.
I went threw 1999 again and found no mention of die hard 64. But didn't it almost immediately get canned because they could not get the rights.
MGM Interactive was the publisher so rights weren't a problem. A uncertain return over investment releasing a game on the shrinking N64 market is probably the main culprit.
Awesome Video. I Noticed that some of the canned games were released on Playstation. Was it because the N64 carts couldnt hold that much data or was it because the developers thought the N64 was a dead system? Also noticed the FF6 tech demo was in there, was that going to be a remake or just the early stages of testing, character animation etc. of FF7 on the console? I thought it was the FF7 thing but really have no idea.
Some got canned on n64 because of the costs of production ,other just got ported to the cube or the company went down. The FF tech demo was't even on a real n64 some say
 I forgot about that considering how many semi-decent Playstation - N64 ports there were like Resident Evil 2. That would of been one expensive cart to produce back then.
I can think of 1 exsample the other way around. starwars racer was planned for psx and n64,but only the n64 got released and the psx version got canned.
too much miniracers, lol, but really good stuff, im surprise no mention of jungle tai tei..... it was very common in som emexican publications i have....
