- N64 RGB Mod Kit (+pre-wired)

Where are the instructions for the Sega Saturn Phantom Universal modchip? Every link I find is broken.

Update: Nevermind. I didn't realize how easy it was to install.

 

Will probably want a Mayumi V4 once the shop opens back up. Not 100% sure on the PSX version but my buddy has a bunch in his garage and said I could have one. I will drop you a PM once I know. Located in Washington State, USA.

Could you please tell me what the difference between the Phantom Universal modchip and the prominent v3 Universal modchip is? I assume there's probably not a lot of difference other than the obvious aesthetic differences, but I just want to be sure that one isn't better than the other.

 

Phantom is similar in terms of installing/fitting.

Advantages with Phantom Universal
- 100% Compatibility with *ALL* drives, models, etc including *ALL" revisions of the Sanyo drive using by only one code, all the time vs. other modchips reusing parts from old modchips with new PCB's with different code that can result in random compatibility .
- All new parts, newly programmed IC's, so its not subject to bit rot for a very long time vs other modchips that are reusing IC's from old modchips that have been programmed in the 90's.
- Lower Price 26$ Vs. $40 and $30 (In CDN)
