A mortar! Jeez... what are you like the Branch Dividians or something? Yikes man! I would probably become a wanderer, not staying in one place for very long, trying to find survivors, etc. Plus I would weld some crazy spikes and shit to my car.
I remember reading one of those zombie survival guides once which said it was a good idea to have a stash of cigarettes and alcohol, mostly alcohol because it would be of great value for trading as money would not be important, and for drinking if you are desperate or disinfecting wounds or for making some tasty molotov cocktails :110:
I just thought of something.... having lots of salt around would be a great idea, if you had a device to convert it into its elemental parts - chlorine and sodium. Both of these could be very helpful in a Zombie invasion. Not sure if this would be feasible though.
