I've recently had the privilege to join a team dedicated to thoroughly research and document this rare piece of gaming history that is the Sega Fish Life.
For those who are not aware of the Fish Life, it is a piece of hardware based on the Sega Dreamcast that was exclusively sold to establishments such as hotels and restaurants in Japan. I bought/received a Wii U Demo/Kiosk Unit (WIS-001). When I test the unit the gamepad is working fine and the console makes all the normal stuff that a retail unit is doing (checking the disc drive at the beginning and the blue LED is constantly on) but I get a black screen on my TV.
I tried to use an RGB connection via Scart from the Multi-Out and HDMI connection but both connections give me a “no signal found” message on my TV (I also tried Scart via my PVM (Scart to BNC-Adapter) but...
