Sadly the framemeister does not have a dedicated audio-out port.
It will output audio through the HDMI cable for all connections (rgb, component, composite, svhs and ofcourse the hdmi passthrough ports)

^ I just added a 3.5" stereo female port on the RGB adapter, that way I get audio from there if needed... it works when you use a monitor without speakers or you want to use better external ones... the drawback is that you can't control the volume from the monitor or the framemeister

The Framemeister does have a volume control in the menus but I think that may only work for the HDMI out.

yes , ofcourse the framemeister has volume control over the audio it sends to the hdmi, the "drawback" applies when you add a separate audio-jack to connect and use external speakers , so it's up to the speakers to control volume

I can confirm the Mini adds no input lag at all when viewing HDMI sources in HDMI passthrough (HDMI_1_DIRECT and HDMI_2_DIRECT ON) mode.

Thanks for the check. I think I'll be using the pass through once the XBOX One is released over here as the 4 HDMI ports on the TV are all used up now with the 360, Framemeister, BluRay player and laptop.

Just got my XRGB Mini Framemeister in the mail today!!

Thank you for the awesome transaction Yakumo!!

Also I can confirm the XRGB Mini Framemeister does not work with HDMI to Component video cables. I just tested it with my old Hauppague HDPVR Model 1212 (S-video, rca, and component video inputs) it detects no video source being feed into the capture hardware. I originally thought that this would not work and confirmed it as not working.

Now I just need to get an HDPVR2 and my game captures will be started.

    Thanks again Yakumo :)

I don't understand what would work with those HDMI to Component cables, it's two totally different signals.

Can anyone help with this problem - I'm hoping I'm just doing something daft?

I have a SCART lead like this out of the JPN MD (60Hz) (I'm in the UK.)
    http://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/...esis-1-stereo-rgb-av-scart-cable-tv-lead.html

this goes into this adapter with built in sync stripper
    http://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/...ni-adapter--euroscart-with-sync-stripper.html

The end of that goes into the XRGB Mini. And the mini uses HDMI to my LCD TV.

The OSD works fine on the Mini and I've updated the firmware to 1.11 and set it to English.

But when I power the MD on, I'm just getting "No Input" shown

    Any ideas why?

^ are you sure that the adapter gets voltage on PIN8 so the sync stripper inside works?
you could just get the simple version, the stripper is no longer needed with new firmwares AFAIK, I have a simple adapter and did not face any probs with the megadrive

Thats a good point, and it may well not be. As you say, I have ordered the non sync stripper version and I'll see how that goes.

I got the non sync but still have a problem

I cant get the mini to output to my LCD.

The OSD from the Mini is fine and I can set this without issue, but I cant get the signal from the MegaDrive.
The front of the mini has lights on the 'Power' and 'Output Link' sections. Should the 'input' light go on when it sees the signal from the MD?

The MD works fine with the RGB cable straight into the TV Scart connection.

I'm using this out of the MD (60Hz JPN)
    http://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/...esis-1-stereo-rgb-av-scart-cable-tv-lead.html
then into this (which then goes into the mini):
    http://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/european-scart-to-framemeister-xrgb-mini-converter-for-sale.html

Is there something obvious I'm forgetting?
What should I double check? Thanks for any pointers.

    Dear

Do it work with 5 component HD YUV from Xbox classic in 480p and 720p resolution? And how do?

    Thanks

My fault - I had it set to HDMI1 input, and of course it should have been set to RGB input.
