    Hi,

I'm interested as well, been looking at these for a long time and with the latest firmware it sounds as it's getting mature enough for me to buy one. Please pm me details, and I'll start crossing my fingers that our customs aren't gonna tear me a new on :D

Right now N64, Mega drive and the NES is connected via a Madcatz scart switch. But I'll hook up my C64, CD32, A1200, PSone and Xbox soon enough.
Haven't played around with the setting enough yet, but in all honesty I can say that my Samsung did good work with the scart cables, cause the picture for the N64 and MD is no better when running through the Framemeister. But I'll do some tweaking once my girlfriend returns to work after our holiday and I'll have more time for gaming hehe

Get those scan lines running, then you'll see the difference. Your u can even choose the thickness of the scan lines now in the firmware I installed for you :)

I might end up needing to get a second XRGB-Mini. How are the prices these days? Same as the last time or cheaper?

Same as last time but I can tell you that the Base price in Japan has gone up to 41, 000 yen! I may be putting my prices up in the future but for now they'll remain as they were.

    Hi,

I'm interested in purchasing one of the XRGB Mini with a D-Terminal cable to be sent to the UK. Can you advise the cost and how I go about ordering please?

    Cheers
    Chris

Since the latest firmware update, occasionally, when I turn it on, it seems to have a higher brightness or contrast visually set (but no change in the menus). Re-syncing with the console seems to fix it. For example, I turn my SNES on, and load sd2snes. The black background is a grey colour. If i press RGB on the remote, it reselects the RGB input, and re-syncs with the console, and fixes it. Happened on multiple displays. Thinking it might be a minor bug with the latest firmware. Will update if it happens again.

EDIT: Upon looking at the framemeister website, looks like i'm a minor version behind. 2.00a is out. I'm on 2.00. Perhaps this has been fixed. Will report back!

I'll send you a PM, Chris.

About the contrast issue. Yeah, I noticed that when aging some games. It is a software but but hopefully 2.00a will fix that. I'll try it out tonight.

    Hey,

Figure I've waited long enough to get in on this action...

Yep, I've posted a few in that direction. Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and so on. No problem sending a Framemister there. I'll PM you the payment details.

Hi, posting this here so it gets some more coverage, hopefully by veterans in this field:

I have an arcade cabinet with a display that ONLY takes input over a vga cable at 1280 x 720 (I assume 31khz). I want to connect a retro pcb to it. The PCB has a vga cable output but at 15khz. The games on it seamlessly transition from 240p to 480i in one part of the game engine to another. Minimzing lag is of the utmost importance as the games heavily rely on audio/visual timing (I will be making minor adjustments to the game code to try to compensate for any additional hd display lag as well but prefer to keep the deviation as minimal as possible as there will noticeable video drift though the input code will be compensated for). Will the XRGB 3 (or mini with some adapters) be able to output at this required resolution over vga or dvi? Or is there another solution that would work better that anyone know of?

    Thanks!
