Yes, I sell the Framemeister complete with the latest English firmware installed so you can have it in English straight out of the box.

The current price is 38000 yen shipped via airmail or 40000 yen shipped via EMS with online tracking and insurance.

I can send you a payment invoice via Paypal or you can send me the payment in yen as a gift to my Paypal account.

If you are interested in the Framemeister, please send me a PM to work out the payment.

    Thanks

Hm can Dreamcast even use Micomsoft's XRGB-mini er Framemeister whatever it is ?

I tried SCART to HDMI but device doesn't have enough power .. although VGA is the goal priority wish to check before invest in this puppy

And then D-Terminal is Japan's component ? So that's no worse in terms of image

Scart to rgb in on framemeister works for dreamcast. Won't be using vga directly with it. You'd need a vga to something else converter, at which point, you'd be better off getting something dedicated for the dreamcast instead.

    Hello Yakumo,

I wonder if a such unit can be used to capture video or is it just a (very good) upscaler ?

Thanks for your answer Borman. I was pretty sure that it was not a capture unit, but I had some doubt after watching a video where the guy talk about capture units and list another xrgb as one of them.

The XRGB is useful to output HDMI to HDMI capture cards, so thats usually why people mention them in the same sentence.

I get it. Thanks. Currently looking to build a video capture set up. This XRGB can be pretty useful.

Oh well, I was about to answer the questions but I'm late to the party :)

As borman said, the Framemeister is fantastic for recording Retro via HDMI of a modern capture card. I use a Framemeister for my Retro Core 5 show.

Looks like this unit is indeed the rolls of the upscaler. Do I need a special scart cable to play French Nes ?

Yes, French nes has a strange Nintendo video plug.
It does not output RF or composite RCA. (but framemeister doesn't accept RF anyway)

You will need the European RGB converter cable for Framemeister. You can buy them from Retrogamingcables.co.uk

Sure, no problem. Do you have an estimate of when you'll need the unit? I always have stock but it's good to know when you will need one.
Please send me a PM when you are ready.

    Thanks.
