Yeah, get selling :) Honestly, I've sold many units now (over 30) and EVERY PERSON loves their Framemeister. Not one single person has been disappointed.

I am certain I'll love it and won't be disappointed, so it's just a matter of getting enough money in time :)
    Thanks!

I wish I had waited :) - I got mine last September when I was in Japan. I think it cost me slightly more than Yakumo is asking for them including shipping - and back then the JPY/USD rate was about 80 - so by the time the CC company had taken their bite it ended up costing me about $500. The current price is a bargain, IMO.

Hahaha, I could say the same for myself. I've owned the XRGB2+, XRGB3 and now the Framemeister. The Framemeister is by far the best but would be the ultimate box (it already pretty much is) if it had a VGA in for Dreamcast.

Thanks. I don't make a lot of money on n each unit sold but that's Ok. I know how annoying it is having to play classic games that once looked fantastic on a CRT but now look like crap on a HD screen. That's why I'm selling the Framemeister cheaper than anywhere else, so that more people can get access to the great hardware and great looking classic games again. Yes, they're still not cheap but much cheaper than if buying from the likes of SoliceJapan. (is that the right name?)

Solaris Japan? It's funny, but I would probably have never bothered to order one, it was just that I was wandering around den den town in Osaka and one of the shops there was demoing them, and despite being a little surprised by the price it still seemed worth buying. I don't regret getting it, it's just a little annoying that with the exchange rate changes it would be significantly cheaper now.

Ah yes, Solaris Japan, that's the place. They charge too much IMO concidering they get them cheaper than what I do then sell them on for more than me once you add their shipping fees.

Framemeister has its share of bizarre options. Convert 480p60 to 576p50, apparently works. At least even my US TV displays the resulting image.

Yeah, they do seem pretty expensive, but luckily I've never had to use them. One of the nice things about being in HK is that flying to Japan is both pretty quick (about 4 hours to NRT) and fairly cheap, so if I want to get anything Japanese I tend to go over and pick it up myself. And it makes a good excuse...

I personally just purchased one from SolarisJapan about 2 months ago--at the time I didn't realize you were selling these. In their defense, they do sell female Component->D-Terminal cables too, which are a necessity to me, for $15 with no additional cost of shipping, which is great because I can't seem to find that anywhere else after doing a quick search. They also offer customs-friendly packaging and they will do warranty or replacement claims to Micomsoft on your behalf if something goes wrong, which was a big plus to me. My order came to $422 with D-Terminal cable included as well as Airmail, although I got a discount because I purchased while they were out of stock and on "preorder." I was very pleased with their fast communication with me as well when I had to ask a question.

Not saying people shouldn't buy from you, though, because I trust you 100% and I think you're doing a great service to the community. I also watched your video on YouTube while searching for XRGB-mini before purchasing and that partially influenced me to buy!

The Framemeister will take 31KHz RGBS in the RGB-in port. If you modify a DC VGA box (31KHz RGBHV) with a sync combiner, you can do VGA quality Dreamcast 480p over a SCART cable to the Framemeister. I'm currently in the middle of doing such a modification to mine. See this thread for more:

If only there were something like that for the PS2. Looks as if we'd have to somehow convert 31khz sync on green to RGBS, matching its 15khz.

I just set the PS2 to component and used the Sony D-端子 cable (which I happened to already have) - the scaler works nicely, but there seems to be a little bit of noise there. I'm not sure if this is the component input on the FM, the output of PS2 or the combination of both.

I guess it doesn't matter right now. For some reason I quit getting audio or video from PS2. Even though the XRGB acts as if there's a signal.

Bunch of things to try. Different cables, remove selector box, different PS2 (too bad the others are region locked :grief:).

Try looking at an Extron 160; hook up your PS2 with a VGA cable and then convert RGBHV to RGBS. The mini din for RGB excepts 15/31khz signals. Extron might make a box that takes SOG to RGBS/RGBHV as well.

Still waiting on my RGB SCART cables to come in, as I received the unit in three business days from Japan! :D

However, I'm pleased even with the results of testing my PS1 via composite in! Very happy to be able to play my retro consoles on my HDTV in glorious HD!
Although the price tag may seem high, the investment is more than worth it to any serious gamer.

Thanks for providing this service to our community, Yakumo!

    I'd hate that to happen here for two reasons;
    1. Australia would be a part of the European Union (is that a good thing?) and
    2. Only 43 Euros?!?! That's terrible! :eek:ffended:

It is unfair when I think about. We have to rank among the world's finest places to import video games. No customs fees, lax stance on censorship.

Yep almost everything about can or cannot stop at customs inspection, that s*it is made at random, so if a framemeister would stop there, first it would be like a month or so to get the notification to send the invoice so they can tax you, i for a package of 80 euros, paid almost 25, for thing that cost 350 euros, i would pay roughly 100 euros if it stop, its a f*cking gamble out here, i bought recently a turboeverdrive, i thought of buying im from retrogate shop, but it might be stopped at customs, so i bought it from an english supplier. Portugal is in debt because of the rulers here, and we the people have to pay for it...
