What's funny is whenever i'm around you seem to show your ugly little head like your all of a sudden the forum watchdog and in fact,i don't hate all sony fans,i just hate the rampant fanboys that rush and try to make Microsoft and Nintendo fans look like idiots despite the fact that Sony has been known for more shady business practices in the past than any of their competitors
Then I guess the 360 version would be your best bet haha. Like I said, it's certainly not bad. My first 2 playthroughs were on the 360. http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/runons.htm Hmm, I kinda like that title. Forum Watchdog... I really do like the ring of it. Don't flatter yourself. I check out the same topics that you do and notice how belligerent and unintelligent you come across. Don't hate me because I have constructive comments relating to your nastiness. I contributed to this thread. I have a lot of good memories regarding my 360.
My first Xbox 360 was a Jasper bundled "officially" in Brasil with Too Human, PGR4 and a HDMI cable. Even today it smells so good. lol And I have another of the same bundle that I keep with the latest blades dashboard. I plan to have as many games as possible for this "offline" xbox. The last playable game without obligatory update is Halo Wars I think. Not so many games for it, really.
Saw this topic, thought it would have some cool posts about the early days of the system. Then i started reading it, had to delete a post and warn a member. 3 pages after... oh well.
I didn't get mine until a year later. It RROD'd meere hours after I got it. My initial games were DOA4, Sonic 06, and Gears of war. DOA4 is the only game I still have. I did have a blast with all sorts of XBLA games though. I forget off the top of my head which ones. I gave up once multiple games I wanted went Playstation exclusive. Now I just keep my 360 around for the Shmups.
I remember that my most hyped game for the Xbox 360 was also GTA IV. I got it a week early because I pirated it and I was 9 years old at the time, so I couldn't afford it anyway. My mind was blown by the physics and the car crashes. Although I still remember that for the first 30 minutes of gameplay I had terrible texture pop-in, I thought that my Xbox had a problem, but it got resolved on it's own.
What are you talking about? Swatting? As in that thing that happens to streamers? Dude, what were you even doing with your 360? Do you live inside a volcano? A burning house maybe?
DOA4 is probably my favorite game for the system. In general, I find the early games for the system more interesting, because it's cool to see how developers were learning how to use the hardware. I think early PS2 games are interesting for the same reason.
That's a very common thing with early seventh gen games. The PS3 architecture was so weird nobody got it working properly. It was like the Saturn, except the devs finally figured it our around 2007 or so as opposed to the Saturn's proper dev kit coming out like right when SoA dropped it. Still feeling old. The 360 is great because unlike its competition, the controller didn't suck, and now you can go and get like 5 games for $20. Soon Gamestop will start practically giving the games away for it.
I orginally bought it for VF5 Online as it did the unthinkable of adding netplay to the series out here in US. It RROD shortly after a year or two, though MS assumed responsibility with their extended warranty program and got another working unit. Still going strong luckily. I love my 360. It gets the most playtime outside of my Dreamcast and Saturn. Play lots of Digital titles like 3S:OE, MvC:O, Garou, KoF 02UM, SF2 HF, DSR... And even more physical releases like DoA4, VF5, SF4, Raiden Fighter Aces, Bayonetta, Sonic UGC, Tekken 6BR, TTT2, Sam Sho Sen, KoF XII and XIII, Battle Fantasia, Burnout Revenge, Vanquish, Child of Eden, VO 4 Force, The list goes on and on.
http://www.cnet.com/news/xbox-360-threat-leads-to-swat-team-raid/ Oh and lets not forget the 10 year olds sprouting out racial and gay slurs in Call of Duty.
Indeed. TES IV: Oblivion is another good example. The hardware is really powerful, it's just climbing that hill of utilizing it correctly. They have said that it's Sony's Saturn. This means emulation isn't something we'll see anytime soon.
I mean, that's not really an Xbox exclusive thing. More of a "modern games that for some godawful reason allow voice chat online" thing.
Which is why I'm bewildered when people honestly think that Super Smash Bros, of all games, needs voice chat. I myself never had a 360, but my brother got his first one in 2005 and went through like six of them in two years.
Jesus Christ, it's been ten years? I was in university back then. I never really liked the Xbox brand because I wasn't comfortable with a mega corporation like Microsoft getting involved in games. But then a friend let me borrow his xbox 360 for awhile and it was kinda fun. Even if getting used to the thumb sticks for FPS games was kinda weird. After noticing how much better games ran on the 360 compared to my more expensive PC, I became disillusioned with PC gaming and starting buying 360 games instead. But then I came into some money and was able to buy a new really very beefy PC with the intent of making this my last PC for the occasional PC-exclusive title. After PC ports became really good and I found I was able to run any game any max settings, I got back into PC gaming and sold off any 360 games I had that were also on PC.
