So I pre-ordered the new 2DS coming out, I wanted a 2DS and thought may as well get a cool looking one.. I picked the yellow one But as for the Red and Blue how the hell are they any different to the ones already out?! ooooh a free digital copy of a game, a digital game add zero value to a console IMHO Granted the buttons have the new colour scheme but if thats all, it seems a bit lazy on Nintendo's part.. Why are there no photos of the back? I'm hoping it has some sort of art on the back like the 3DS did. here's hoping .........................
I know but it's funny people are trying to scalp them but they're not sold out here (apparently not even close too being)
Meh 2ds. I may just get the pokemon 3ds bundle though, been wanting a new 3ds for the better screen, may as well get a limited edition.
I pre-ordered it. I've said I wanted a New 3DS if Nintendo released them, and this came with A) Awesome faceplates and B) pre-installed games I actually want (sorry Happy Home Designer).
I'd preorder it too if damn EB games had it up yet (Stupid Canada). I get the feeling I'm gonna miss out on this, but hey, I'll keep my eyes open. I'm probably won't even going to play the games, I just want the faceplates and the fact it's a 20th anniversary is cool. I've still got my original copy if I'm going to play it... Actually I'll probably play through them to try out the Missing No stuff and all that, see what they changed.
I know it's going to use online, so I'm hoping they integrate Pokemon Bank on it, which would make it a lot easier for me to start over without losing my beloved Pocket Monsters.
That Jungle Green 2DS completes the picture/button color co-ordination well. Japan-only, I'm guessing.
Ah, wait. Blue/Yellow/Red bundles are confirmed for Europe & Australia. NA is excluded, most likely to push more New 3DS sales since it's still somewhat new here. It would not be surprising if the 2DS bundles get a delayed release over here too, maybe as a Christmas deal. In any event, it would sell and sell well.
First of all, I don't care whats on the back unless its $2000+ hidden under it Also; Those 2DSs are butt ugly.. I mean look at them.. Nintendo removed the 2-part 3DS-deal to make it impossible to break the hinges and also removed the 3D effect, for kids of course.. Sooo.. The 2DS is a console who plays 3D(S)-games in non-3D while its a fucking brick, thats cool (not) I've never tried one and probably never will but I guess for some it may be cool to have right? Just for shits and giggles Also, if the New 3DS XL had shown up in transparent blue/red/yellow/green that would be pretty nifty.. Hey, Nintendo, you hear me? This is not a post to make fun of anyone or to piss anyone off (Who am I kidding, of course it is)
It's sad that Nintendo only makes limited editions for their handhelds now. The Wii U is only available in black and white, but does anyone remember the N64, Gamecube or even the Nintendo Wii days ? I think that making limited editions is a smart thing to do. And it's sure better than having almost no choice at all.
